International Informational Breakthrough: Our Own Newspaper

Share this ARTICLE with your colleagues on LinkedIn .

In writing The Internationalist Page Blog, I cover topics which I think would 1) be of the greatest interest to my faithful (thank you!) readers, and 2) which have not been adequately covered by either the mainstream or the fringe media. As a Human (using the latter term loosely for Douglas E. Castle), I am partial and defensive regarding my own focus and my own opinion regarding international events, perils and profit opportunities.

In order to give my readers a richer, more broadly-based view of international events and implications, I have published a nifty weekly newspaper which you can access by just clicking on the large rectangular (and robin's egg blue) button right under my sign-off on this article. I'm doing this to keep you coming back and to give greater utility to my blog as a resource for you, but (being less mercenary for a moment) I am also doing it to give you a more extensive view of The Global Village and the coverage of its many events and possibilities by other authors and sources. Their focus, interpretation and choice of subject matter under the general umbrella of Internationalism may be very different than mine --- and that's why I believe that you are entitled to hear them. Information is important, and I believe that more information from a greater variety of sources is better for the purposes of learning.

Something NEW!

My purpose in writing this blog is to provide readers with my focus, opinion and commentary on certain events, paradigm shifts, important trends, and possible future scenarios -- as well as ways to provide for them, either by positively exploiting them or by exercising the most effective damage control. My writing is for my readers, but it is inadequate in terms of comprehensive coverage on the general categories of subject matter being discussed. I will now offer you much more than ever before. And yes, cousin Frankie, it’s still free.

Henceforth [snobby word, eh?] I'll be posting more article links to this site, as well as whole weekly newspapers or curated collections of articles to this site covering interesting news items gathered from all media to provide every reader with a broader, better view than just my own. While my original articles will continue to be posted, these weekly reviews will lend some needed external perspective to the things that I'm speaking about, and will cover areas where I haven't focused my own attention as an author and an executive. I also feel that views which are not necessarily my own must be given fair representation. My readers are intelligent enough to decide which views are the most sensible, and who they can best believe.

As always, thank you for reading me, and for sharing my articles and other materials with your networks of contacts, colleagues and friends across the ever-increasing variety of social networks through your bookmarking, toolbars and other sharing tools.

A first sampling of this new information follows right beneath my signature and the list of search terms for this article. Please read it, and I hope that you truly enjoy it.

Arab World: Most Powerful, Influential News Media

Share this ARTICLE with your colleagues on LinkedIn .

In these times of troubled relationships between the entire Arab World and the industrialized west, the escalating violence between Shiite (Shia) and Sunni Arabs, and political divisions between the Arab world with respect to Taliban, Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah and various smaller but rapidly growing groups eager to fill a growing sense of a power and leadership vacuum, it is critical for any news analyst and any citizen diplomat or Internationalist to understand where the news and influence comes from to the peoples of this vast and strategically important region. An interesting article follows from the American Press Institute (API) which should certainly give us all pause for thought:
OFFSHORE
Facebook is the third-biggest news source inArab world (journalism.co.uk)
A survey by Northwestern University in Qatar finds Facebook is the third-most used news source after Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiya. Two factors that may have affected those results are: (1) the importance of interpersonal sources of news and information in the 10 countries surveyed and (2) the mix of internet penetration, income and literacy rates.
+ Interactive site of the survey’sfindings and slides of the keyfindings (Northwestern)

---------------
I personally do not care for Facebook (or for Mr. Zuckerberg for that matter), and I use it far less than such social media platforms as LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest. But there can be no disputing the fact that Facebook has the greatest general following amongst non-business users throughout the world. For its mix of features, I believe it is probably the "friendliest" source of comprehensive pedestrian internet communication in the world-at-large.

ICS - International Connection Services - Your Virtual International Division.

Share this ARTICLE with your colleagues on LinkedIn .

There are a great number of readers of The Internationalist Page Blog [which covers a broad spectrum of topics relating to citizen ambassadorship, telecommuting, efforts toward creating the legendary (but sometimes problematic) "Global Village," The United Nations, The World Trade Organization, the operations of numerous NGOs as well as many other geopolitical, demographic and cultural issues], who are not aware that we are affiliated with ICS - International Connection Services, a pragmatic business-dedicated website.

ICS is our pragmatic and commercial counterpart which serves to facilitate virtually every aspect of global trade and international commerce for the benefit of small to medium-sized businesses (from start-ups to well-established, but insular companies) which want to explore the potential of international suppliers, transnational joint ventures, the global marketplace, but which want to do it on a tightly-controlled, inexpensive and scalable platform.

Because of a vast number of technological breakthroughs, ICS is able to custom create and help to manage virtual import and export divisions for companies which want to get started without major outlays of capital, any additional staffing, and without the time-consuming travel aspect traditionally associated with international business.

Today, we'll unveil the official ICS button link... a small square which, if clicked upon, will take you to the ICS website straight away; if you just timidly run your cursor over it, it will describe some of the objectives, focus and services offered by ICS. Here's the brand-new button. You can run your cursor over it, and then give it a solid, committed click.

Thank you, as always for visiting, and for forwarding our articles to your colleagues, friends and acquaintances through your social media connections and channels.
